SOUL TRAIN IN THE 80'S
Soul Train in the 80's was a start of a new era and new styles coming to music. It was an introduction to rap by Run DMC, to more of Michael Jackson as his solo career. The style of music also change with the way fashion and other styles were changing. In the blak entertainment world, during the 80's, music still soulful but had a funky twist to it. This was when black music was introduced to the funky style of music.
When music was changing, fashion was also for the background dancers. Instead of the natural afro, the dancers started to wear the jerry curl. They also started dressing with vibrant colors and legwarmers. Very flowy things were in style for this era on soul train. and Soul Train just got bigger and bigger as the seasons kept coming.
